Gas appliances that have been supplied by the landlord in tenanted accommodation are, by law, required to be tested and certified on an annual basis. Essential Gas Services can help. We offer a full Gas Safety inspection CP12’s which is a safety inspection carried out by our competent and technical experts who are fully Gas Safe registered and trained by leading academies in the UK.
An annual safety inspection is carried out on each gas appliance/flue by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Inspections need to have taken place every 12 months, unless the appliances have been installed for less than 12 months, in which case they should be checked within 12 months of their installation date.
A copy of the current Landlord Gas safety certificate (CP12), is issued to each existing tenant the same day, as we know some companies could take almost 28days to issue the certificate after completion.
